Kiss My Ass

My Irish grandfather taught me this meant 'kiss my ass" - and on the Italian side, although I'm not sure, it probably meant I want more Romano cheese on my pasta, but in any case - hope you all have a Happy 4th of July !

    BTW, either kissing her ass or having more pecorino cheese seem good options.

  3. I think the Irish punk folk group The pogues named themselves after this as Pogue mahone means Kiss my arse in Gaelic.Now there's a load of info you did not want to know

  4. Thanks Steve - I did know that... my grandfather, who worked for Thomas Edison, educated me in many ways - cursing in Gaelic was one of them.
