Sent this to my Pop who ran Boneville in the 80's. His Thoughts:
Close!!!!!............Actually it is El Mirage dry lake. There is no salt build up on the cars, Bonneville is too hot to wear a jacket and finally...the mountains are too close and there is dark dirt at the base of the mountains.
It looks to be in the late 40's or early 50's........look at the cars in the background......the newest car is a 1948 Ford. Check out his pant cuffs....40's / 50's!!
That's so cool. I thought for sure that it was the Salt Flats. Thanks for info and thank your pop for me, for me. I love finding out more about old photos that I come across... Have a great weekend Super Dave !
