Ed "Edith" L LaFriniere refused to remove his wig after police arrested him on October 9, 1967 for disturbing the peace. Officers claim LaFriniere was impersonating Ethel Merman in the middle of Highway 65 and nearly caused a tractor trailer to overturn.
