Ok, detective time. I found the picture on Tineye with a French Total Oil slogan superimposed. That doesn't look like a Total Oil logo, but the image could definitely be French. Look at the styling of the overhead lighting in the background above the rear pump - very French. Also, that could be an Ionis bicycle shop in the background.
I know for sure this is from a European magazine. The friend who sent it to me is Italian however, there's a good possibility that it is French. (Ionis bike shop - could be a dead giveaway !)
Volvo?
ReplyDeleteI couldn't say... it sure might be. This was a stand-alone photo I had with no other info...

ReplyDeleteSo, a French car? Renault or Peugeot?
You are quite the detective Dan !

I'd wager a bet that the car was a Renault.
Haven't been able to match any Renaults, I think maybe a Peugeot - but that center door pillar is giving me doubts. Italian, huh?
ReplyDeleteWe are narrowing it down. The center door resembles a VW (the trunk does not) but I'm not that educated in European automotive models...
ReplyDeleteI should send an email to my friend and see if she has any further info. That might work !
