An inedible stew of visual lunacy much of which I concocted with my own three hands.
This has a little of a feel of the Dark Tower series by S. King, yes? Very, very cool, man!
I does, although King may have gotten his ideas from "1 Million Years B.C." (my favorite movie as a kid) - this photo is a 'still' from the movie.
When I saw this as a kid I thought Ray Harryhausen had used a real turtle in this scene. Of course I also had the classic Raquel skin bikini poster up in my room.
I was like 4-years-old and in love with Raquel (finally got to work with her when she was on "Victor/Victoria".)This was the first movie I made my parents take me to over and over. We must have gone to the drive-in 5 differnt times to see it.
Check out the great Harryhausen shot I put up at the forum: twistedvintage.lefora.com
Definitel will soon... need to get back to work and finish a story. I will place a link to the forum later tonight with some new posts.
Definitely...
