Hanna Barbera characters pretty much all suck.
ReplyDeleteThe animation is uniformly poor, the character design weak, and the Cartoons themselves lame. I don't even like their colour palette. Classic sound FX though.
They are like the line in Chinatown about politicians, ugly buildings, and whores all becoming respectable if they last long enough. All one has to do is look at any Jay Ward Cartoon (Rocky & Bullwinkle, Peabody and Sherman etc.) to realize limited animation does not have to suck. Tom and Jerry, Chucchoch Ptuii
