    Mr and Mrs Speed Buggy? (obscure I know)
    After the accident he was a man barely alive but they rebuilt him, they had the technology and made him better than he was before. Better, Stronger, Faster. He was the $6000.00 MAN!

    I did have to look it up but... OH YEAH, Speed Buggy ! I remember that show. Hadn't thought about that one in years.
