    Oh, I love it! Have you seen the movie? Brit actors, knockoff Godzilla. Classic!

    Yes I love this movie - as a kid, I liked it a bit better than Godzilla - mainly because it was London, and the plot of a mother monster being pissed-off and trying to find her offspring was great.

    Yes, an awesome movie. I love that they capture it and it is huge and then the really big mom shows up. There has been a script going around for a few years that is basically a remake. I don't think the people reading it even realize it. Needless to say it will probably suck (and be shot shaky). The VFX in Gorgo are by Tom Howard (Brit. VFX dude) who later went on to work on some stupid space flick called 2001 or some such. And while the VFX are ok (even with the ears flopping around); nothing beats the Tsuburaya's "guy in a suit stomping miniatures" in the Godzilla films.

    HA - 2001, a stupid space flick... and I guess Douglas Trumbull is some ordinary hack. I agree with you AzathothX that special effects were better in Godzilla - and when it comes to special effects - YOU ARE THE MAN !
