    Auto-Bondage is not safe!
    Velvet rope is readily available.
    And while I may not be an Eagle Scout I do suggest keeping it handy in the night table drawer; just in case of "emergencies". Chance favors the prepared mind (and bedroom).

    Velvet rope - my my, are you hoity toity.

    I usually use the laces off my Chuck Taylor hightops. I keep a pair of ratty, old sneakers under my pillow just in case the magical moment arises.
