  1. Lol - an obscure version of the giant produce card. They only get as big as horse cocks - not elephant cocks.

  2. I live a stone's throw from the Hood Canal and have most my life. And I don't eat these and don't know anyone who does (but I know they are consumed! Unlike razor clamming this involves heavy-duty shovelwork.

  3. Are these Geoducks really that large?

They are monsters themselve if so.

  4. Thanks Dan - actually (don't ask me why) but the horse cock images jarred my memory... yes, I've seen those suckers before.

  5. I think the biggest they get is like 15 lbs. Pretty big but not as rendered in the photo.

  7. Well, my husband isn't *that* well endowed, but as coincidence would have it there is a bivalve shell surrounding his member.

  8. I have seen a tank of these ( live big 'uns) at an Asian Dim Sum Restaurant. They are of course considered a "delicacy". I do not think they fight like clawed crustaceans so they don't have to keep them rubber banded or in condoms or anything.

  9. Dog is also a delicacy in some parts... and no rubber band or condom needed there. So I'll still stick to Maki Maki if I had my choice.

  10. lol - Kelly, I'm sure he appreciated your ' bi-valve" description. We know you love 'monsters' so there's no fooling us... your husband is a lucky guy.
