X-Sonic

  1. 1956 Chevrolet Corvette designed and built by Ron Aguirre known as the X-Sonic, acknowledged to be the first car ever using Hydraulics to raise and lower the front suspension. Car went through lots of renovations. This is the '62 version. Photo by Ed Roth. And I did have to look it up this time.

    Aguirre behind the wheel. Looks like the front suspension hasn't been raised for this photo. That side panel looks as though it's close to scraping the ground.
