'54 Bonneville Special

  1. Nice lesbian propaganda poster. I'm not hatin' on lesbians either. I just think the image makes it abundantly clear that women don't really need us. All they need is a beach blanket and couple of margaritas to complete the scene.

I know, I know. Not all women want fast cars and exotic travel destinations, but this is definitely how a mainstream marketing copy editor would pitch the lifestyle. No?

  2. Absolutely. This would be exactly the pitch. You're right on target there. I hadn't even considered the psychological affect it could have as an ad. I merely saw a car - a very expensive one, which recently sold for $2.8 million.

  3. F'ing Straight 8! Also a really fugly back end and I think those scoops on the hood are the only air the passengers get. The Club de Mer a few year later was more polished. At least they made 2 of them you still have a chance.
This is '54 Lesbians hadn't been invented yet.
