    Universal '47 or '48. Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein and signify the death of the horror genre. (Obviously oral only) Mermaid is Anne Blythe from another Universal film.
    A & C and Dean Martin were both "Genre Killers"
    If they were in a movie it was the end for that genre for years.
    Meeting Abbot and Costello = washed up.
