    Because I think that is his Kong robot over at MGM circa '75-'76?

    You nailed it - well, of course you did...

    1975-76
    One of my friends went into the city with his dad to see the full-size head, chest and arm laid at the base of the World Trade Centers for some of the final shots in the film.
    He said he tried to call me to see if I wanted to go but my little sister had been on the phone for hours and he couldn't reach me... SHIT !!!!!!
